Mentor Recognition

The Employee Volunteer Mentor Program was initiated in 1999 as a cornerstone of Stanislaus County’s commitment to building community and the program continued for 22 consecutive years signifying support by the County’s elected officials, executive leadership, community partners and employees.
The program was paused in 2020 due to the COVID-19 emergency and was re-launched during the 2022-2023 school year with a partnership with Modesto City Schools and Sierra Vista Child & Family Services, and support from the County Library. 47 County employee volunteered to mentor a school age child and provide a positive role model.
