2025-2026 Employee Volunteer Mentor Board of Supervisors Recognition
The Stanislaus County Employee Volunteer Mentor Program continued to make a meaningful impact throughout 2025–2026. Relaunched in 2022 and strengthened through our partnership with Sierra Vista Child & Family Services, the program supports the Cradle‑2‑Career Initiative by helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This year, mentors dedicated over 3,000 hours to guiding local youth, helping more than 200 students achieve 286 goals ranging from improved peer relationships to stronger reading and writing skills. With 100% teacher recommendations and overwhelmingly positive feedback from students and principals, the program continues to demonstrate its value. A total of 53 mentors participated this year, and we look forward to expanding our mentor community even further.
